| Taftville FD Responds Mutual Aid to "City of Norwich" House Fire On Saturday December 18, 2004 the Taftville FD was dispatched mutual aid to the "City of Norwich" for a working structure fire. Norwich units arrived to find a 1 1/2 sty ranch well involved. Crews from ET-21, ET-22, & Tower 25 responded to assist Norwich. First Due Norwich Units did an excellent job on knocking down the fire. Other units that responded were the Mohegan Tribal Fire Dept FAST, American Ambulance, and Norwich PD. East Great Plains FD covered the city. The cause is still under investigation by the Norwich FMO. |
