| Shanty Fire by Railroad Tracks Feb 9,2009 - Around 23:30hrs Taftville was dispatched to a reported house with explosions on Jewett City Rd. Asst Chief Jencks arrived and found a shanty fire between the railroad tracks and the Shetucket River, crews performed a primary search for victim, the search turned out to be negative. The incident is under investigation by Norwich PD and Norwich FMO. |
