| Late Night House Fire on South "A" St Dec 22, 2009 - Just before midnight, Taftvlle was alerted to a house fire on South A St. First units arrived 2 minutes from the 911 call and found fire emitting from the A/D corner porch. A hoseline was quickly deployed and the fire was contained to the porch. All occupants were evacuated safely. The occupants were allowed to stay in the house since the fire damage did not affect the living area. The cause is under investigation. |
